RepRapShack Shop Launched

My new little on-line shop was launched today. I intend to offer 3D printer parts that are not very easy to get in the UK/EU.

I’m currently eyeing up the parts for a Cerberus 3d printer build but am finding very very few parts for this (or any delta printers for that matter) are available in the UK, the main being 1515 extrusions. do you have these or can you get them?

I’m also trying to find someone who could print me the the printed parts, could you help with this also?

    cheers

      Hi Sean,

Thanks for getting in touch. You’re right that many of the mechanical parts are hard to get in the UK. When you say 1515 extrusion, do you mean 15mm one (like OpenBeam or Misumi HFS3-1515) OR the much larger 1.5″ one like 8020.com 1515 that Steve Graber uses? Since you’re gathering parts for Cerberus it sounds like the latter which I’m unfortunately unable to help with… What I could order is a Misumi HFS8-4040 extrusion which is close – 40×40 mm (1.5″ is 38.1 mm).

I could put my Printrbot to use again (it’s been sitting idle for a while) and print the parts for you. I prefer printing in PLA if that’s OK. I’ll contact you by e-mail and we can discuss it further.

      Best regards
      Pete @ RepRapShack
